His and Hers

"She would tell me if she wanted to," he thought.
"He would ask me if he wanted to know,"she thought.
There, they thought.
No words spoken.

It's like an endless guessing game,
where both parts try to be..
Caring? Tactful? Considerate?
the Truth : fear.
Fear echoes thought the feeble minds..
Words might hurt
Words would later be regared as redundunt
Words would later be discared n forgotten

Nicely put : mutual understanding?
(as fas as the situation is concern)

Question grew wings,
buzzed around their minds,
threaten to squeeze pass their lips..

The "?" twisted itself,
sketching, scaling, compressing and expanding..

"So..,"they begin.
ermm..tickling of time..
No more noise.
<>
In search of the so-called approriate manner to start.
"Well..,"came next.
It seemed ages before the next "huh?","you know" came up.
Did they loved each other so much that they had nothing to say?
Did they love each other so much that there was so much they feared to say?

Staring is rude..but not in this context.
He wanted to reach out his hands to touch her's.
She wanted to reach out her's to let him touch.
but..there was no movements

He knew she belonged to someone else.
She knew he belonged to someone else.
Maybe, the word "belonger" doesn't really holds.
Afterall, they were meant to be together.
Notice the word "meant to"...some times it would have been easier if..
that two words didn't exist.

They ought to be contented.
They were fortunate compared to many other of their age.
They should be pleased with their share.
Why? Why did they sit staring hungrily.
Greed?
They were indeed greedy.
Greedily drifting to their own world.
A world in their control
A world where only they belong
A world where only they exist..

The word "if" is misleading them
like a black magic carpet to their "ideal world"
where nothing had to be taken into consideration.
If... I had just took her with me.
If... I had gone away with him.
If...We would do whatever we like
If...only there was if..
endless..if..
beautiful fantasies..

They gazed..
they were not the only ones..
like them, many others were forced to jolt back to reality.
They could only
dream in the mysterious nights where
the world,
the world of reality
takes a nap.
